Meet Taras Vysortkyi, Deputy Minister for Agriculture in the Ukrainian Ministry of economic development, trade and agriculture

On Friday, September 6, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has appointed 11 new deputies to their Ministers. The Minister of economic development, trade and agriculture Alexei Milovanov got three deputies: Taras Vysortkyi is appointed as Deputy Minister responsible for Agriculture.

On his Facebook page Taras Vysotskyi posted:

Today I was appointed Deputy Minister of Economic development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine. In my position as Deputy Minister for Agrarian Policy, I plan to implement the following steps: complete more than ten years process of land reform by introducing the agricultural land market; clean up the agrarian sector from unprofitable, inefficient enterprises by providing them for privatization; fight corruption in the sphere of state regulation and control by eliminating and / or digitizing the relevant procedures; increase the income of employees in the agricultural sector by liberalizing the labor market and improving the skills of workers; support decentralization, rural development and the enhancement of the well-being of the rural population through the de-shadowing of activities in the agricultural sector and through support of small producers.
