The largest food and drink exhibition in Asia, with a lot of international interest. As the leading Food & Beverage tradeshow in Japan and Asia, FOODEX JAPAN provides business expansion opportunities and provides solutions for Food & Beverage related world issues.  The Japanese market is known as difficult and time-consuming, but Dutch food entrepreneurs are increasingly finding their way to the lucrative market in Japan. The demand for high-quality, innovative and branded products in particular is increasing sharply.  The previous hybrid event format in March 2021 drew over 25,000 visitors in spite of the Covid-19 pandemic circumstances.  Netherlands represented with a Holland Pavilion where 13 Dutch companies took part in the fair virtually.

Aichi Sky Expo in Aichi

The GPEC show, held biannually, is the most important B2B fair in Japan, which is devoted to the greenhouse horticulture and plant factory technologies. During the last edition, GPEC 2018, up to 235 exhibitors showcased their products, and  more than 40,000 professional visitors from Japan and surrounding countries were attracted. Please find more information in the report 2018. The next show, originally scheduled for July 2020 and postponed due to Covid-19 pandemic, will take place in Aichi from 14-16 July 2021.
