European Food Festival in Saudi Arabia
The EU Delegation in Saudi Arabia is organizing a 2-day European Food Festival in the fall of 2022, in cooperation with embassies of EU Member States and Saudi authorities. The Food Festival is intended to celebrate Europe’s rich culinary traditions and diversity. We call for Dutch companies, or companies importing Dutch food items, to show interest to participate in this event to put food from the Netherlands on the map.
Companies would partake by being part of the Netherlands booth at the Food Festival through sponsoring. You may participate by having a chef to live-cook food during the event, or by sending food products to be promoted during the event. The event is expected to be held in a weekend in October/November, exact date tbc. and is aimed to be a family-event including live-cooking, workshops, entertainment and music.
Companies who wish to be part of the Netherlands booth may express their interest by contacting the Agriculture & Food department of the Embassy of the Netherlands on RIY-LNV@minbuza.nl. Please send your email before August 31st, mentioning your company name and preferred type of sponsoring (live-cooking and/or product promotion). Please have a look at the sponsoring brochure for more information about the event and participation. In the first week of September it will be decided if The Netherlands will have a Netherlands booth at the European Food Festival and which companies will be invited to take part in the Netherlands booth.
