Egypt: Courtesy call became joint call for action
Ambassador Westhoff met with Minister El-Sayed El-Qosair, of Agriculture and Land Reclamation to discuss the long cooperation in agriculture between Egypt and the Netherlands. He was joined by members of the Embassy team working on economic affairs and agriculture.
During the meeting, fields of cooperation in agriculture were discussed, such as animal feed, soil testing, plant breeding, research, and agricultural trade between the two countries. Minister El-Qosair and Ambassador Westhoff agreed to set up a working group to take steps for future cooperation.
