Potential for Dutch livestock cluster
There is a great potential for the Dutch livestock cluster in this area. According to her speech, Ms. LIU, DDG of the Provincial Agriculture Department, Zhejiang is the only demo province for green development in China. The Netherlands is well known for its high advanced technology in the livestock production. She strongly believes Chinese companies can learn more from the Dutch counterparts.
This was the first time for the livestock sector roadshow. In the past CG Shanghai organized 4 times roadshows in the Horti-Cluster, all in the neighboring provinces. We will continue this effort upon the request from the clusters. We got a lot of positive feedbacks afterwards. A few statements are quoted below:
“I really enjoyed this visit. It has brought me important insights that I can use immediately in our business approach. Thank you for all your effort, I can imagine it is not easy to arrange visits to these high profile companies.”
Gerard Weijers, Global Solution Manager for Pig Segment, Nedap
“I am happy to cooperate with the Dutch Consulate in organizing the roadshow. we received all positive feedback from our members.”
Berry Wang, Pig & Feed Cluster of NATFC
