Romanian Maize Growers Association (APPR) and Slobozia Town Hall have the great pleasure to invite you to be part of a common endeavor to organize the FarmConect Fair Romania - an agricultural show held during June 9-11 2022, in Slobozia, Ialomița County.

FarmConect Fair Romania was born from farmers’ need to step into the public arena and tell the story of their daily effort to provide food, offering consumers a comprehensive picture of the value chain “from farm to fork”. The show is equally envisaged to play a major part in connecting farmers with companies from the agricultural industry and thus facilitating information, knowledge and experience exchanges on good practices and the employment of the most advanced, cutting-edge technologies in farming, instrumental in reaching economic, social and climate sustainability targets. Furthermore, this open dialogue is seen to strengthen rural communities and help them grow.

FarmConect Romania will bring together local food and agricultural raw material producers, technology developers and input and distributors, along with agricultural equipment manufacturers and digital technology providers, traders, researchers and students in a common effort to create, distribute and communicate value for consumers.

APPR represents farmers that jointly operate roughly one million hectares of land in Romania. We are confident that our common endeavor is just the beginning of a powerfuland active communication platform for the agricultural and agri-food sector nationwide. To  become a stronger voice, we need your support and involvement in the organizational process of FarmConect Romania fair.
