03 Feb februari On-Line Conference: Sustainable agriculture in Ukraine

Coping with the consequences of climate change requires significant investments that no state or financial institution can provide, so the only way out is to consolidate the efforts of governments, financial institutions, business and society, since inaction in addressing sustainable development issues will cost humanity much more.
The role of agricultural enterprises in the sustainable development of the agricultural sector is extremely important. They not only create jobs in the countryside, thereby ensuring social well-being, but are also responsible for building production processes in such a way as to reduce the negative impact on soil and water resources, flora and fauna.
Of course, this cannot be achieved without the introduction of modern technologies. During the event, attention will be paid to finding the most promising technological solutions. And, of course, the question will be raised, can agricultural producers bear such responsibility only on their own shoulders? What support can be provided by the state and the administration?
On the example of the All-Ukrainian competition "Incredible Villages of Ukraine", organized by AgroPortal.ua in cooperation with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ukraine, this year's final will present solutions for sustainable rural development aimed at preserving ecosystems and biodiversity, social responsibility and local government, existing business and economic development of the regions.

Among the speakers of the conference are representatives of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, DLG e.V., the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ukraine, German-Ukrainian Agricultural and Political Dialogue, public organizations and business.
