A recent heatwave, covering Eastern Europe (with temperatures of 33-36 degrees C) reminded us how important green areas are for cities with their cooling effect.

However, we still often disparage trees due to lack of knowledge. In a modern world, technological tools provide unique possibilities of better trees (and other green areas) management. And everything here starts with digitalization of green zones in cities.

During our webinar with Dr. Nadina Galle, we’ve discussed:

- Why is it important to digitize the Green in cities and how does this help to save trees?

- What had Amsterdam, Melbourne, Maastricht and other advanced cities already done and what could we learn from them?

- How do trees contribute to a circular city model?

- What could we start from in Kyiv and other cities of the Eastern Europe?
