De internationale sierteeltvakbeurs, MyPlant & Garden vindt van 22 tot en met 24 februari 2023 plaats in Fiera Milano. Met 650 exposanten – 18.650 bezoekers – 116 delegaties inkopers – 500 media-artikelen en radio- en tv-reportages is het het belangrijkste B2B groene evenement in Italië. Na de zeer succesvolle deelname aan de editie van 2022 is de Nederlandse Ambassade in Italië ook dit jaar weer aanwezig samen met vooraanstaande Nederlandse snijbloemenproducenten.

Net zoals in Nederland blijft het terugdringen van antibioticumresistentie een belangrijke prioriteit voor de overheid in Frankrijk. Tien jaar geleden lanceerde het Franse ministerie van landbouw het zogenaamde Ecoantibio-plan. Dat plan heeft bijgedragen aan het substantieel terugdringen van het gebruik van antibiotica in de dierhouderij. Toch werd onlangs een nieuw communicatieplan gelanceerd, ter gelegenheid van de wereldwijde week voor het passend gebruik van antimicrobiële stoffen (18-24 november 2022).
