EUROPA - Spain: legalization of irrigated lands rekindles the water war in Doñana

- South Korea: agriculture, forestry, and fisheries takes up 1.5% of nation's total energy consumption

In 2019, energy consumption in the agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sectors accounted for 1.5% of the total energy consumption in Korea. The Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy recently released the "2020 (as of 2019) Energy Survey Report" containing this information. This Ministry conducts a comprehensive energy survey on energy consumption by industry, transportation, and households every three years.

- Vietnam: rice exports in the first quarter of 2022 increased in volume, value and price

According to preliminary statistics of the General Department of Customs, in March 2022, Vietnam exported 531,389 tons of rice, equivalent to 262.95 million USD, the average price was 494.8 USD/ton, increasing in volume, turnover and price compared to February 2022, with an increase of 13.3%, 17.7% and 3.9%, respectively.
