Highlights Agroberichten Buitenland is de wekelijkse nieuwsbrief van het Landbouwattachénetwerk. U wordt iedere week geattendeerd op nieuws, activiteiten en achtergrondinformatie van 60 landbouwteams actief in 80 landen.
Deze week zijn 8 nieuwe Landbouwraden benoemd op de Nederlandse ambassades in Berlijn, Washington, Hanoi, Nairobi, Rabat, Bangkok en bij de Permanente Vertegenwoordiging (PV) Europese Unie (EU) in Brussel. Tevens zijn 2 Landbouwattachés benoemd: op de Nederlandse ambassade in Pretoria en bij de PV in Rome. Zij zullen starten in de zomer van 2022, met uitzondering van Bangkok: deze benoeming is al eerder ingegaan.
De technologische ontwikkelingen in de Britse agrofoodsector gaan snel. Op het terrein van bijvoorbeeld robotica, kunstmatige intelligentie en precisielandbouw liggen mogelijkheden tot verdere samenwerking met Nederlandse partijen. In 2021 is een Duitse zorgplichtwet op toeleveringsketens van kracht gegaan die maatschappelijk verantwoorde productie gaat verplichten. Dit geldt ook voor levensmiddelen en andere producten in de agrifood sector, en geldt voor zowel de producent als voor de directe en indirecte toeleveranciers in de productketen. Van boer tot bord.
