Highlights Agroberichten Buitenland is de wekelijkse nieuwsbrief van het Landbouwattachénetwerk. U wordt iedere week geattendeerd op nieuws, activiteiten en achtergrondinformatie van 60 landbouwteams actief in 80 landen.
De Nederlandse bloemen- en plantenexport sluit 2021 af met een nieuw record van 7,3 miljard euro. Dit maakt de VGB bekend op basis van de exportstatistieken van Floridata. De exportwaarde van snijbloemen steeg met 25% en komt daarmee uit op 4,4 miljard euro. Voor planten nam de exportwaarde toe met 17% naar 2,9 miljard euro.

Nederland was in 2021 toonaangevend in de handel van verse groenten en fruit ondanks hoge transportkosten, een tekort aan zeecontainers, Brexit en lockdowns. De verkoop van verse groenten en fruit aan het buitenland steeg naar €13,1 miljard (+1%). De exportwaarde van vers fruit viel even hoog uit als in 2020, terwijl die van verse groenten met 2% toenam.

Het concept is ongebruikelijk. Consumenten die een eigen merk creëren en gezamenlijk bepalen wat zij willen laten produceren en welke prijs zij bereid zijn daarvoor te betalen. Maar het lijkt goed te werken. Het Franse merk C’est qui le patron?! (Who’s the boss?) boekt succes in Frankrijk.
