De Landbouwraad van de Nederlandse ambassade in Rabat heeft begin April 2022 het Engelstalige rapport gepubliceerd over de zakelijke kansen in de pluimveesector van Marokko. De studie is uitgevoerd door de Netherlands Africa Business Council (NABC) met ondersteuning van RVO. In dit rapport krijgt u een overzicht over ontwikkelingen in de pluimveesector in Marokko, welke kansen er liggen en hoe u daarop kunt inspelen.
Een groep van 15 Nigeriaanse ondernemers uit de horti-sector, aangevuld met hoge vertegenwoordigers van de deelstaten Lagos en Oyo, bezochten Nederland. Het betrof de eerste handelsmissie uit Afrika sinds de corona-crisis. De totale delegatie bestond uit ruim dertig personen: anderen volgden programma’s rondom hernieuwbare energie en circulaire economie.

Agricultural exports from The Netherlands to Mexico are booming. With almost € 480 million in export value to Mexico, 2021 recorded the highest export numbers ever. Dutch agricultural exports to Mexico were 14% higher than in 2020, and 19% higher than in pre-COVID 2019.
The composition of the agricultural exports from The Netherlands to Cuba is volatile, even though the total value remains relatively stable. In 2021, the total agricultural exports to Cuba were almost € 62 million, 3.5% higher than 2020, but still 21% lower than in pre-COVID 2019.
