Highlights Agroberichten Buitenland week 25, 2021

Onze nieuwe Agrospecial 'Mondiale aanpak van voedselverliezen' is verschenen. Tegengaan van verliezen in de voedselketen is een internationaal thema waar steeds meer aandacht voor komt. Dit e-magazine met maar liefst 40 bijdragen schetst een beeld van de actuele ontwikkelingen rond voedselverlies- en verspilling en welke maatregelen hiertegen wereldwijd worden genomen. Nederlandse bedrijven en kennisinstellingen zijn hier geregeld bij betrokken. Ons landbouwattachénetwerk speelt vaak een bemiddelende rol.

Hans Hoogeveen is op 17 juni verkozen tot onafhankelijk Voorzitter van de FAO Raad. Hij is vanaf 2016 de Ambassadeur/Permanente Vertegenwoordiger van Nederland bij drie VN-instellingen die in Rome gevestigd zijn: FAO, WFP en IFAD.
