Het Border Operating Model zet uiteen hoe de nieuwe importvereisten in Groot-Brittannië na het vertrek uit de Europese Unie in 3 fases worden geïmplementeerd. Fase 1 begon op 1 januari 2021, met o.a. een certificeringsplicht voor ‘hoog risico’ landbouwgoederen. Op 1 januari 2022 gaat, na meerdere malen te zijn uitgesteld, fase 2 van start en vanaf 1 juli 2022 fase 3.

Van 9 tot 11 december 2021 vond de 10e editie van AgriAsia plaats in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. AgriAsia is een grote tentoonstelling en vakbeurs over landbouwtechnologie. Het landbouwteam van de Nederlandse Ambassade en de NBSO in Ahmedabad besloten de kans te grijpen om voor het eerst in ongeveer twee jaar weer een fysiek evenement bij te wonen en partnerland te zijn op de beurs.
