Invitation for Feed Safety Resilience in Times of Crisis Seminar 2022 in Bangkok
With the growing demand for foods of animal origin globally, the demand for feed continues to increase which brings about expanding international distribution of feed. Ensuring animal feed safety is crucial because it has a direct impact on animal health and welfare and also on food safety and human health (www.woah.org).
Animal Feed plays a leading role in the global food industry as the largest and most important component to ensure the sustainable production of safe and affordable animal proteins.
Animal feed safety as an integral part of the food value chain has been internationally recognized as a shared value and a shared responsibility.
“Despite the COVID pandemic, ASF and H5N1, the global feed sector nowadays has been confronting with the consequences of Russia – Ukraine conflict, while bio-threats are still existing, legislations, knowledge and culture are factors that contribute as well to the crisis if neglected. Moreover feed and food sectors need to ensure their operations at the highest level of safety for all (Johan den Hartog, 2022).
GMP Plus International in collaboration with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Bangkok invites you to participate in the seminar “Feed Safety Resilience in Times of Crisis” on 8th September 2022 (13:30 – 15:30 hr.) at IMPACT Exhibition Center, Bangkok.
