Poland: outbreaks ASF nr 54 -56

The Chief Veterinary Officer informed about the designation of the 54rd and 55th African swine fever (ASF) outbreaks in pigs on the territory of the Republic of Poland in 2020. Outbreak nr. 56 was marked on the map, details on the infected farm will follow. All outbreaks are in the south east of Poland, in the Lubelskie Province.

ASF Outbreak nr. 54, 2020, was found on August 19 on the farm where 1 pig (sow) was kept, located in the town of Smoryń, in the Frampol commune, in the Biłgoraj poviat, in the Lubelskie province.

ASF Outbreak nr. 55, 2020 was found on August 19 this year on the farm where 39 pigs (including 10 piglets, 16 weaners, 10 fattening pigs and 3 sows) were kept, located in Gorajec Zastawie, Radecznica commune, Zamość poviat, Lubelskie province.

ASF Outbreak nr. 56, 2020 has been indicated on the map by the CVO and is located in the Lubelskie province, in the already excisting blue zone close to outbreaks nr 7, 11 and 25.
