Myanmar: Assessment on the Agri-Food Sector
The International Food Policy Research Institute Myanmar IFPRI made an analysis available for the agri-food sector affected by the Covid-19 lockdown.
The assessment by IFPRI studied the short-term direct, indirect economy-wide impacts along with references and recommendations to the agri-food systems, industries and services in Myanmar. An analysis shows the overall National GDP to fall by 41%, the agri-food system by 21%. See the full report and the presentation slides.
