Aquaculture Africa 2020 Conference in Alexandria, Egypt

Egypt’s city of Alexandria is set to host Africa’s most prominent aquaculture conference, Aquaculture Africa 2020 (AFRAQ2020). It will be held from 28th of November to 1st of December 2020 at Bibliotheca Alexandrina. The African continent’s biggest conference on aquaculture is a platform for experts, researchers, practitioners, decision-makers and stakeholders in the field of aquaculture.

It will provide an opportunity for extensive discussions about aquatic animal health, African aquaculture investments, genetics, climate change and innovative production systems. It will also host industry forums and students sessions and activities all organized by the Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation’s Authority for Fish Resources, the Central Laboratory for Aquaculture Research and the Egyptian Aquaculture Society.

Dutch companies, experts and organizations interested in unlocking the opportunities that Egyptian and African Aquaculture have to offer, are more than welcome to participate.
