Myanmar: labeling requirements and the priority products list
According to Myanmar Central Committee for Consumer Protection, there are 9 product categories that require Myanmar language labeling.
The list includes food and beverages, household products, children’s items, telecom equipment, drugs and supplements, chemicals, cosmetics, toiletries and equipment. Attached document is the official list of the priority products under each category. Myanmar made an announcement in 2018 on the new labeling regulation. The official deadline set by the Government for companies is until April 2019.
